
Pianist, composer.
In 1986 he graduated from the Leningrad Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory on piano with Professor Elena Shishko and composition class of the famous composer, Professor Sergey Slonimsky.
In 1994 he graduated from the graduate school at the Russian Institute of Art History.
In 1991 he made his debut as a composer of opera «Lefortovskaya witch» in a children's musical theater «Through the Looking Glass». In the same year he started work in the musical version of the Leningrad television as deputy editor. Viktor Vysotsky acts as a composer, concert pianist and author of television projects. Among his most original composers' works is the author's version of Mozart's opera «The Abduction from the Seraglio», he created for the theater «Gelikon opera» and staged in Moscow in December 2000.
As a pianist Viktor Vysotsky is now busy concert schedule. He played in the halls of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Capella, in Shtaats Berlin Opera and others. He is the author of notable concert projects which are reflected in the press and on television as well as participated in prestigious festivals "White Nights", Sacro Art and others. From October 2007 - author of «The territory of Music» on TV «TV 100». The program became a national finalist in TV contest «Tefi-2008».
In February 2008, Viktor Vysotsky made his debut as an opera director and opera Gretry «Richard the Lion-Heart» in the interior of the Mikhailovsky Castle. (Artistic director Julia Goltsova, musical director - People's Artist of Russia Sergei Stadler).
Currently, Viktor Vysotsky is a professor of the Department of Directing Musical Theatre of St. Petersburg Conservatory and artistic director of the Philharmonic «Petersburg-Concert».
