
Born in 1989 in St.-Petersburg. In 1996 he entered the Choir college named after M. Glinka, then, in 2007, became a graduate student at the St.-P Conservatory in vocal and choir conducting. On the stage of St.-P Conservatory opera theatre he performed roles of Gurnemanz (Parsifal, R. Wagner, opera excerpts), Zuniga (Carmen, G. Bizet, conducted by M. Yansons), Panas (Night Before Christmas, N. Rimsky-Korsakov) and etc.
He is the diploma holder of the Elena Obraztsova International Competition (St.-Petersburg), the 1st prize winner of the Shalapin International Competition (Yalta), the 3rd prize winner of the Three Centuries Of Classical Romance International Competition (St.-Petersburg) and the 4th prize winner of the Sviridov All-Russian Competition (Kursk).
He debuted at the Mariinsky Theatre as Jailor in Puccini’s Tosca when he was 19; he later performed roles of the High Priest (Nabucco, Verdi), Patsuk (Night Before Christmas, Rimsky-Korsakov), Mityukha (Boris Godunov, Mussorgsky), Bearded Man (Dead Souls, Shchedrin), Zuniga (Carmen, Bizet), Elder (The Karamazovs, Smelkov), Monk (Don Carlos, Verdi), Solder (Les Troyens, Berlios); he prepared roles of Kolenatov (The Makropulos Affair, Janáček), Paul (Mystery Of Apostle Paul, Karetnikov).
He has worked with the outstanding conductors of our days: V. Gergiev, Y. Temirkonov, G. Noseda, Y. Franz, M. Agrest.
Since September 2010 he has been involved into Bolshoi Theatre Youth Opera Training program.
