Is a graduate of St. Petersburg State Conservatory and works as an accompanist for the class of solo singing.

She is a prize-winner of M. Yudina Competition in 2007, «Art of the XXI century» competition in Kiev-Vorzel in 2007, «Chamber Music of the XXI century» competition.

As a member of a trio she received a Special Award at the Shostakovitch Competition for chamber ensembles and piano duets in 2008.

Darya Shaposhnikova won Second Prize at the International Competition for voice and piano duets «Three Centuries of Classic Romance» in 2008.
