Highlights of Alexey Markov’s 2006-2007 season include Tomsky (The Queen of Spades) at the Frankfurt Opera, Iago (new production of Otello) at the SemperOper in Dresden; Renato in Graz Opera Theater (new production of Un Ballo in Maschera, season 2007-2008), Prince Andrei in Metropolitan Opera (War and Peace), Scarpio in Tosca at the Frankfurt Opera (season 2007-2008) , Eugene Onegin in Eugene Onegin at the La Corunha Festival in La Coruhna (Spain), Mahler’s 8th Sympohny with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Valery Gergiev in London (UK), Gryaznoy in the Tsar’s Bride with the New York Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall (New York).
