
Is a pianist from Saint-Petersburg, a graduate of the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory, where studied solo piano under professor Pavel Egorov.
Prize-winner of International Competitions, scholarship holder of the Fund of Female Trustees of the Conservatory and the Lions’ Club in Finland. Has performed as a soloist of symphony orchestras, has been music superintendent and the leading soloist in the artistic project to the music of J.S. Bach and composers of the XX century «Kaikkien Nimi On Mina», performed for few seasons on the leading stages of Finland. For some years has worked as invited pianist at the symphony orchestra Joensuun Sinfonia and as piano accompanist at a conservatory in Finland. Together with violist Oleg Larionov (Mariinsky Theatre) in «Duo Viola Classique» Maria has toured the cities of Northern Europe and Scandinavia.
A perceptive and artistically inclined ensemble player and piano accompanist Maria Kamchilina-Larionova works in close cooperation with People’s Artist of Russia composer Sergey Slonimsky and distinguished musicians Oleg Larionov, Zhanna Dombrovskaya, Elena Vitman, Alexey Tanovitsky, Irma Gigolaty, Honored Artist of Russia Oleg Sendetsky, Eduard Tsanga and Mariinsky Chamber Orchestra.
For several years has cooperated with major projects of Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory – International Competition for Opera Singers «Saint-Petersburg», «Three Centuries of Classic Romance» International Festival and «Fin de Siecle». Performs regularly on stages of the Small Philharmonic Hall, Small Hall named after Alexander Glazunov, the Academic Capella, the White Hall of the Polytechnic University the Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall and other concert spaces of Saint-Petersburg.
Her most important recent engagements include a lieder-evening with Zhanna Dombrovskaya and performance of R. Schumann Piano Quartet with string-players from the Mariinsky and the Academic Capella orchestras on the composer’s bicentenary at the Small Philharmonic Hall.
